The PADI Discover Scuba Diving programme

First of all, a lot of fun and a fantastic new experience! Draw your first breath under water, kick those legs and you are off gliding along the pool and experiencing the thrill of weightlessness. After a short safety briefing and a run through of the equipment you will be using, one of our PADI Professionals will take you for your first exhilarating underwater experience. You will be introduced to some of the basic skills needed for scuba diving, at the same time keeping things fun. Our Discover Scuba Diving programmes are all done in the safety of the local pool at Southwell Leisure Centre, in the presence of a PADI professional. After you have finished your experience you can decide for yourself whether or not you would like to go to the next stage and book your place on the PADI Open Water course... there will be no ‘big sell’ from us... if you would like to learn to dive you will be more than welcome to join us, if not and you decide that diving is not for you, then fine, at the end of the day it is your choice.

Discover Scuba Diving programmes (Try Dives) are £20 per person.

(All equipment is provided, you just need a swimming costume, a T-shirt you don’t mind getting wet and a towel – if you have a wetsuit the bring it along).
